Mission, vision, goals, mission and values of Leishmaniasis Research Center

This field is determined to take an effective step towards improving the level of the country's scientific production by training committed human resources and supporting researchers, students and professors.

In the next five years, the Leishmaniasis Research Center of Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences will become a research hub in the field of leishmaniasis at the regional and national levels. Also, with logical planning and based on research and educational activities, it can play an effective role in finding practical answers to the needs of prevention, timely diagnosis and treatment of leishmaniasis.
Goals
1. Implementation of the general policies approved by the vice president of research and technology of the ministry
2. Empowering researchers and developing research and technology at the university and provincial level
3. Monitoring the good implementation of related research activities in faculties and research centers
4. Using the results of applied research and new technologies to solve problems and improve the health of society
5. Expansion and development of regional, national and global research collaborations
6. Policy making and integrated planning to improve the quality and upgrade the quantity of the statistics and information system of the university
7. Supporting research centers and creating and developing research institutes
8. Targeting basic and applied research by considering ethics in research
9. Optimizing the use of usable budgets in the research sector in order to improve the quality and quantity of research and support researchers
Mission
The Leishmaniasis Research Center of Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences tries to provide a suitable platform for motivating, attracting and employing researchers in the field of leishmaniasis by using the strength of the faculty members, researchers and employees. In addition, by taking advantage of scientific documents and based on community-oriented educational thinking, it has taken great steps to improve the health of the people of Sabzevar city (as one of the endemic centers of leishmaniasis) and Iran.
